Welcome, fitness enthusiasts, to the month of March - a time where we pay homage to the foundation of Pilates with March Mat-ness! As we embark on this journey of wellness and mindfulness, we invite you to join us at Lift Fitness Studio in celebrating Joseph Pilates' original 32 mat exercises.

Joseph Pilates, the visionary behind the Pilates method, developed these exercises as a means to promote strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. His philosophy centered around the concept of whole-body health, emphasizing the importance of controlled movements.

Throughout the month of March, we will be diving into each of these foundational exercises in locations around Gillette. Whether you're a seasoned Pilates practitioner or new to the practice, March Mat-ness offers an opportunity appreciate for the method's roots. Here's a sneak peek at what you can expect:

Day 1: The Hundred - Kickstart your March Mat-ness journey with this dynamic core-strengthening exercise on locational EK Jewelers

Day 5: The Roll-Up - Enhance spinal flexibility and core strength with this classic Pilates move. We will be rolling up like a taco in fort of one of Gilletes Taco trucks!

Day 10: Single Leg Circles - Improve hip mobility and stability while challenging your balance and control.

Day 20: Spine Stretch Forward - Release tension in the spine and hamstrings while improving posture and flexibility.

Day 30: The Seal - Have some fun with this playful exercise that targets the core, hips, and inner thighs.
