I started training with Juanita at Lift fitness, and believe she is one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. I really enjoy the variety and challenges she puts into the workout sessions.  She has the equipment, technology and knowledge to transform you both mentally and physically!


Juanita is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging and fun! My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I look forward to my workouts.


I thoroughly enjoy working out at Lift fitness, and would recommend Lift to anyone looking to improve their fitness, lose weight, gain flexibility and feel healthier with a dedicated trainer.

Juanita is an awesome personal trainer!

She takes you where you are at, and builds you up from there.

I am in such a better place than I was a year ago that it is not even worth comparing.

For what it is worth, I do not give these kind of recommendations lightly.

I do not believe there are enough stars to rate my experience at Lift with Juanita Ostrem. I started out attending weight training in a small group and then transitioned into a Pilates group where I have thrived for the past three years. Not only has my body changed but so have I as an individual. Lift is a place in which you are supported to be your best self— for yourself. To always go that one more inch, lift a little higher, and to try not stopping.



I initially sought out Juanita and Lift Fitness based on a recommendation of a friend. I have nerve damage on my right hip, leg and foot.  As aging advanced, I began to lose not just strength but mobility.  Pilates was new to me and very different from my usual  yoga and weight training. I  found that with her patience, knowledge and encouragement I could overcome the disability and gain strength as well as confidence.  Juanita notices, in a detailed fashion, what is happening to my body daily and over time. I was too self conscious to allow a 1st day picture,  wish we had done it to show the HUGE difference in my ability, as well as my appearance and even my outlook on life. She took me through some dark days with a new autoimmune disorder, never giving up on me. I cannot begin to thank her enough, and recommend her and Lift Fitness beyond 100%!

To say that working with Juanita at LIft has changed my life would be an understatement. Nevermind the fact that I have lost over 30 pounds and feel so much better in my own skin, no need for spanx or tummy control briefs any longer. The best part of my journey has been the improvement in my health, I'm an insulin dependent diabetic and have high blood pressure and all that goes along with those diagnoses. Since strength training and weight loss (a big part of which is my diet - Juanita continues to be instrumental in helping me) my A1C (blood test to measure diabetes) has never been lower, my entire blood screening has greatly improved. The amount of insulin I take a day has gone down by over half. I'm seriously giddy over these results. 

Juanita, is very knowledgeable as a personal trainer and offers guidance that goes far beyond the few hours a week we spend together. Juanita is honest with me about my health, weight, diet, etc and it may not always be what I want to hear. I've come to realize it's always what I NEED to hear. I absolutely would not have been able to make these changes without her. 

Juanita is AMAZING and I would recommend her to anyone who is thinking about getting a personal trainer - worth every single penny!
